The RANCHO Public Health Investment Toolkit is made up of resources that share what a career in Public Health can look like in the Rural North. Click on the image to the right or below to download the toolkit.
It includes: (1) A public health career brochure that includes information about what public health is, what schools are in or near the Rural North, and an investment map that breaks down different public health careers by educational level, wage, careers, and anticipated job growth. This brochure can be printed out and shared with local schools, career fairs, community events, etc. (2) A compiled list of regional public health wage data, with positions categorized by job category.
- Disclaimer: The data used for calculations in this toolkit was sourced from public job listings during Spring 2024. The wage data and averages presented do not fully represent actual annual salaries. The job listings presented are non-exhaustive. The numbers and positions may change past Spring 2024. Local Health Departments in the Rural North have differences in their job positions (ex. positions being full-time or part-time). CCRP recommends reaching out to individual Local Health Departments for a more accurate view.
