Middletown Rancheria Community RISE Project
The Middletown Rancheria Community RISE Project addresses five priorities identified by 69% of the 265-member Tribal community: Housing, Climate Justice, Youth Programs, Entrepreneurship, and Cultural Resiliency. The six-month pre-development phase will create a Master Plan for initiatives including post-fire housing, renewable energy development, and cultural preservation through a museum and linguistic program, while establishing apprenticeships and certification training to combat the region's 16.8% poverty level.

Master Plan for Housing, Climate Resilience and Youth
The Middletown Rancheria of Pomo Indians is addressing challenges facing their 265-member community and Lake County through a comprehensive initiative supported by 69.2% of the General Council. The six-month pre-development phase will create a Master Plan focusing on housing, climate resilience, youth programs, entrepreneurship, and cultural preservation to help the 79.49% of members struggling with expenses.
Solutions & Environmental Stewardship
The Barnes Street Housing Project aims to address housing shortages caused by the 2015 Valley Fire, providing critical residential solutions. The project includes hydropower and geothermal energy development, water system evaluation, and renewable energy solutions to promote sustainability.
Cultural Heritage Preservation
Six part-time Tribal Elder and Youth Culture Keepers will support a Tribal museum and linguistic preservation program, with a Youth Tribal Council guiding apprenticeships.
Economic Empowerment
Workforce development through apprenticeships, certification training, and mentoring programs seeks to address the region's 16.8% poverty level and create sustainable opportunities for both Tribal and non-Tribal community members.
