Welcome to Redwood Region RISE: Building a Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Economy in the Redwood Region, encompassing Tribal Lands, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino Counties. As part of the statewide California Jobs First program, we're committed to creating thriving-wage jobs while advancing equitable economic growth that supports our state's carbon neutrality goals.

Getting Started
Redwood Region RISE (Resilient Inclusive Sustainable Economy) is the name of our Collaborative—one of the 13 designated regions in California. Between January 2023 - August 2024, our Collaborative's Planning Phase focused on crafting inclusive economic development strategies--our Regional Roadmap--that boost quality jobs in our regional industries, as well as identifying priorities and investments that align with and advance these strategies.
With the conclusion of the Planning Phase, RISE has now entered the Implementation Phase. This phase is guided by the strategic Regional Roadmap delivered by our Collaborative, which outlines key strategies and proposed investments. These investments, which will be operationalized through Activation Plans crafted by our Sector Investment Coordinators, aim to secure funding to bring our plans to fruition. We welcome you on board this exciting regional effort!
