Turning Vision into Action: RRRISE's Sector Investment Coordinators
Redwood Region RISE has embarked on an exciting new phase: implementing our Regional Roadmap strategies. To operationalize these key economic priorities, we have onboarded four Sector Investment Coordinators. These specialists are now working to create Activation Plans, which will be submitted to the State Interagency Team, to implement actionable strategic efforts that advance the four key economic sectors our Collaborative has identified: Arts, Culture and Tourism; Health and Caregiving; Renewable and Resilient Energy; and Working Lands and Blue Economy.
The Sector Investment Coordinators work with the Collaborative and communities at large to provide technical support that can help transform promising initiatives into reality. They will connect project leaders with expertise, aim to secure State and Federal funding, and prioritize investments that benefit priority communities.
Advancing Sector Objectives
As part of RRRISE, which brings together Tribal entities, small businesses, environmental groups, and workforce organizations, the Coordinators are helping build a resilient and inclusive economy in the Redwood Region. They meet regularly, engage with project proponents that have submitted ideas to our Project Inventory, and are assembling Sector Advisory Groups to advance sector-specific objectives.
