Redwood Region RISE's "Regional Plan Part 2" outlines data- and community-driven 10-year regional development strategies. The first section presents sustainable strategies for the region's four target sectors: Arts, Culture, and Tourism; Health and Caregiving; Renewable and Resilient Energy; and Working Lands and Blue Economy.
The second part highlights cross-cutting strategies in broadband, entrepreneurship, food security and access, housing, transportation and infrastructure, and workforce development. The report concludes with a plan for Redwood Region RISE to advance and implement these strategies and sustain RISE's vision for long-term community well-being and systems change.
Plan Part 2 builds on Regional Plan Part 1, which provides a baseline data snapshot with key metrics of the Redwood Region’s economy, key industries, labor force, climate resilience, and public health. that impact communities’ well-being. Find more on our Regional Roadmap here.
