The California Center for Rural Policy (CCRP) is seeking an Equity and Project Development Expert to support Redwood Region's organizations in developing projects that benefit disinvested communities, create thriving wage opportunities, and support a resilient and sustainable economy in the region. The entity selected for this role will possess strong networks and knowledge of the region-Tribal Lands and Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino counties. The expert will be tasked with helping early-stage project proponents move through the project development process, center California Jobs First values in their project design, and better connect with resources available within and outside of the Redwood Region RISE Collaborative. The expert will be required to uphold the core principles outlined in the RRRISE Partnership Agreement Letter, and deliver on work plan goals in the timeline stipulated by
the California Jobs First Planning Phase grant.
The RRRISE Equity and Project Development Expert hired for this position will:
- Facilitate coaching hours
- Host debriefing sessions with the convening team on project development and emerging opportunities, and
- Produce written feedback and resource recommendations to project proponents, delivered as needed and appropriate.
