Our Technical Assistants (TA) have a deep knowledge of economic development and inclusive, diverse, transparent, and accountable regional planning processes. Our TA's will provide tailored support and help build capacity within and beyond our Collaborative's efforts. 

What Do Our Technical Assistants Do?

Redwood Region RISE's Technical Assistants will provide facilitation, trainings, and technical assistance to support the Collaborative objective to advance economic development plans and strategies to diversify local economies and develop sustainable industries that create high-quality, broadly accessible jobs for all Californians.

Redwood Region RISE is collaborating with True North Organizing Network (TNON). True North supports families, elders and youth of diverse faith traditions, races, cultures, and economic capacities—using the power of relationships and a disciplined community organizing model—to courageously challenge social, economic, and environmental injustice in our region.

RRRISE - EDF Working Group - Regional Government Services
Economic Development Finance (EDF) Working Group

Redwood Region RISE's Economic Development Finance (EDF) Working Group – led by Regional Government Services (RGS) – is embarking on an education and capacity building process that aims to empower the Region with the ability to think about Economic Development Finance in a way that 1) Enhances the participants' existing expertise and; 2) Equips them with the tools to make them more effective in pursuing state and federal funds, philanthropy, and other sources of revenue to help make projects viable.
