RRRISE Catalyst Pre-development Funds Request for Proposal (RFP)

Redwood Region RISE Launches Catalyst Funds Request for Proposal

On November 18, The California Center for Rural Policy announced a transformative $9 million grant opportunity through the Redwood Region RISE (Resilient Inclusive Sustainable Economy) initiative. The funding opportunity, which closed at 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025, will support up to 10 pre-development projects aimed at strengthening the economic fabric of the Redwood Region, with all projects to be completed by September 2026.

Advancing Pre-Development Projects in the Redwood Region

Redwood Region RISE south both exploratory and near-implementation-ready projects that align with the RRRISE Regional Roadmap and Collaborative objectives. Eligible applicants included any incorporated entities, government bodies, or Tribal organizations capable of contract management and fund administration.

Cross-sector and community collaboration was strongly encouraged, as the program aims to position projects for successful implementation funding in the future.
