Join Our Monthly Redwood Region RISE - Collaborative Meeting

Our regular Collaborative Zoom meeting for the month of April is cancelled, as we will be hosting an In-Person Collaborative Meeting from Monday, April 29, 8:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. to Tuesday, April 30, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.*

We welcome members of our Equity Council, Tribal Table, Sector Tables, Voting Block, and community leaders and residents from our Tribal Lands and four counties at our In-Person Gathering.

Date & Time: Monday, April 29, 8:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. to Tuesday, April 30, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location: 266 Keisner Rd, Loleta, CA 95551 (Bear River Tish Non Community Center)
Invitees: Members of our Equity Council, Tribal Table, Sector Tables, Voting Block, as well as community leaders and residents from our Tribal Lands and four counties.

Hotel Costs: We have rooms blocked at the Bear River Casino & Hotel, but spaces are limited. Please indicate on the RSVP Form linked below if you would like us to reserve a room for you.
Travel Costs: Participants traveling for an hour or longer will be eligible for travel reimbursement. Please let us know through the RSVP Form if you are interested in this.
Food Costs: Food will be provided for breakfast and lunch on both April 29 and April 30 at no cost to participants.
Child Care Costs: Please indicate on the RSVP form if you are interested in getting reimbursed for child care costs during this event.

What do we hope to achieve through this in-person gathering?

Foster better connection and collaboration across the region, raise awareness of different initiatives, and sow seeds for partnership on project development with lots of unstructured networking time.
Collectively identify and develop action-oriented sector and cross-cutting strategies that lay the groundwork to bring in and guide resources in our region.

Redwood Region RISE and our Collaborative meetings

Redwood Region RISE (Resilient Inclusive Sustainable Economy) is a regional community coalition of 100 seated members engaging a community of nearly a thousand residents in Tribal Lands, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino Counties. Together, we are working to develop equitable strategies and recommend investments that aim to support our communities, strengthen economic resilience and diversification, and environmental sustainability in our region- through the California Jobs First (previously known as Community Economic Resilience Fund, CERF) initiative.

Our regular monthly Collaborative Zoom meetings are open to the public and take place every last Thursday of the month from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. During these monthly gatherings on Zoom, our Voting Members discuss prominent issues and take key decisions. The other members of our Collaborative and the broader public are highly encouraged to join in, as these meetings are a wonderful way to stay informed on Redwood Region RISE's progress, and receive research updates and other information. We value your input, feedback, and questions. Join us and learn more about the amazing economic development work that is taking place in our Region!
